In an interview he said- "We're passing a very hard time at present, but for our own safety, I'm staying at home, trying to do my office work / all communication by through the online."

One of the well known fashion star in BD. He is the only son of Dr. Rajendra Nath (R.N) Majumder & Mrs. Shova Majumder, was born in Capital Dhaka. As a teenager, he decided to become a fashion model. He soon received offers for modeling and made his first bold photoshoot in 2007. Chandan received praise for his starring shoot in GANGCHIL & OGILVY cover. He also participates in stage shows, has written columns for a newspaper, designed his own line of clothing for men, and is a prominent celebrity endorser for brands and products.

চারিদিকে যখন করোনার ভয়াবহতা, গোটা শহরটা যখন থমকে রয়েছে, এইসময় কিভাবে সময় কাটাচ্ছেন তারকারা?

ফ্যাশন মডেল- চন্দন মজুমদারের সাথে এই ব্যাপারে ফোনে কথা হলে তিনি জানান- 

"করোনার ভয়াবহতা প্রথম শুরু হয় আমার টোলারবাগ এলাকা থেকেই। সাথে সাথেই লক-ডাউন সবকিছু। অফিস বন্ধ, শুটিং বন্ধ। একদম বাসায় বন্দি হয়ে যাই আমি। মাঝে যখন এক বিল্ডিংএ ৭ জন ধরা পরে, আমরা ঘরের দরজা-জানালা বন্ধ করে বাসায় বসে থাকি।

আমার সারাটা দিন নেটফ্লেক্সে মুভি আর আর্টিকেল পড়তে পড়তে কাটে। আমিতো ঘরে থাকার ছেলে না, দম বন্ধ হয়ে যাওয়া অবস্থা আমার।

মাঝে মধ্যে সন্ধ্যায় একটু ছাদে হেটে আসি। ইদানিং ইউটিউবে অনেক খাবারের ভিডিও দেখে আমি আর মা দুজনে মিলে সেই খাবার বানাই। এভাবেই ৫০ টা দিনের মতো একদম বাসায় বসে আছি। তারপরও বলবো সবাই এই দুর্দিনে বাসায় থেকেই যেন সুস্থ থাকে। ” 

বর্তমান পরিস্থিতির কারণে এবারের কোনো ঈদের শুটিং করছেন না এই মডেল। সুস্থ থাকলে আবার কাজ করা যাবে বলে জানান চন্দন।

ভক্তদের উদ্দেশে তিনি সবাইকে নিজ নিজ  বাসায় থেকেই সুস্থ থাকার পরামর্শ দেন।
